ADO LES SCENTS MEN'S SPRING/SUMMER 2011

Korean designer Hyun Yeu's Ado Les Scents's latest collection entitled "The King is Helpless" takes inspiration from the story of King Edward VIII who gave up his throne just to marry the woman he loves. It sounds like a good plot for a Spanish telenovela if you ask me. I'm not a big fan of this collection. Some of the cuts look too odd for me like the puffed sleeves, micro shorts and the cropped jumpers. The criss-cross mandals remind me of Gerry Katigbak S/S 2011. The asymmetrical shirts look kind of cool though.

  1. The first two looks strike me and then the next ones stop me from enjoying the collection.

Something seems to be missing here. haha

  2. I don't see any relevance or whatsoever in King Edward VIII... maybe some romance

  4. gian...the collection just looks odd on caucasians..maybe koreans can pull this off but it just looks weird on some of the models. i hated the proportion of the sleeves and the length of the shorts are just way off.
