Navy blue, camel and white are officially the new colors of Fall/Winter after seeing DVN's latest collection! It's definitely a notch better than his S/S 2011 collection. I love the David Bowie hairdos on all the models. It just gives you this Euro rockstar vibe! I have never been a big fan of fur just because it's just too flamboyant and indulgent for me. But I totally adore DVN's removable fur pieces. Nowadays, people consider the versatility and practicality of the items they like before purchasing them. Having said that I like how you can totally transform some of the pieces from this collection into something different. The outerwear is definitely one of DVN's strongest assets. Honestly, I want every single outerwear he presented on the runway. Everything just looks wearable. I love how Dries chooses basic cuts and adds little touches to make it his own! Dries also presented different variations of the wide-leg trousers which is fast becoming one of the most popular trends I have been seeing a lot on the runway. I kind of like those fitted trousers with side panels as well. Also, I absolutely need to get a hold of those baggy 2-piece suits! I hate myself for passing on these DVN suits at dirt cheap prices when I was still living in SF.
