If you have been following my blog then I am certain that you know that I l(i/o)ve to travel. It is one of the things I am passionate about. I feel so blessed to be able to discover the world, meet people from all walks of life and experience different cultures and traditions whenever I can. I am what you call a self-proclaimed gypsy. My closest friends would hands-down co-sign on that sentiment. Ultimately, I wouldn't be the man I am today without my early exposure to the world outside Manila. And for that I will be forever indebted to my folks for letting me go where the wind takes me. How funny that I can still clearly recall my very first trip to the US right after my last day in college! Sadly, my first trip did not have a happy ending. But hey I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. You live and learn.
Anyway, during one of my journeys I met Argentinian Gabby Costa, an avid backpacker like myself. We managed to keep in touch thanks to Facebook. Incidentally, last year Gabby and his amigos were setting up an online community magazine. So, when he noticed I have been constantly uploading fashion photos on Facebook he offered me to curate the fashion section of the site they were setting up. Since I am practically unemployed currently have a pretty flexible schedule I instantly agreed to do it for experience and exposure. So far, I am extremely satisfied with the turn out of the website. Hopefully, it gets more traffic in the next months.
Here's a snapshot of what my page looks like.
Doesn't it look fancy? I totally dig the lay-out and everything. Right now it is in Spanish. But hopefully in the next few months the dixiti crew can translate it in other languages as well. Learning Spanish is another option, comprende amigos and amigas?
Anyway, do send your love and support to my newest venture!!!
Before I forget I do want to extend my warmest gratitude to Gabby for giving me the opportunity to let my voice be heard to a much broader audience. More power to Dixiti!
