Until now I couldn't believe that it has been two years already since I left San Francisco. A lot of things have changed since then. Moving back home was one of the most difficult decisions I had to make. But in the end I'm glad I made that decision. I never thought that it would open new doors for me. So far, I have traveled to more than 50 cities in 25 countries, attended several fashion shows and events here and in Paris, contributed to several local publications, reconnected with old friends and made several new friends all over the globe. I even got a chance to strut my stuff on the runway a few weeks ago. In short, I am having the time of my life. It's true that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes you just have to let the forces of nature take its course.
My biggest challenge is yet to come. After the success of my Ebay venture in the US, I toyed with the idea of having a boutique. Since I had a full-time job there I didn't have the luxury of time to set-up a boutique so I had to put my ambition on hold. So far, 2011 has been a great year for me. So I'm taking my chances this year. Putting up a boutique during recession is not an easy task but I know there's a market here that hasn't been tapped yet. So, hopefully I'll be able to fill in that void. It feels great that I'm finally doing what I am very passionate about because at the end of the day that's the only thing that matters. No monetary value can compensate for that. So guys, better hold on to your seats because I will be taking you for a joyride for the months to come!!!
I don't want to sound sentimental but thank you guys for all the support and love you have been showering me. I really appreciate it! Now, keep your fingers crossed and lets just hope that everything falls into place!
