I was really disappointed when I found out Cambodia-based Pinoy designer Don Protasio had to skip Philippine Fashion Week this season due to his tight schedule. I have been following his work since 2009. In fact, I had seen his last three consecutive runway shows here in Manila. And season after season this prolific designer never fails to amaze me with his vision! Sure enough his latest 32-piece androgynous collection which debuted at Cambodia Fashion Week is undeniably another home run. I absolutely adore the witty styling of Don's well-curated collection which has that modern urban warrior vibe. I also love the face mask idea. Some of the covetable pieces from this collection include the half-vests, half-blazers, one-arm sleeve, oversized capes, asymmetrical tops, long-sleeved shrugs, man dresses and those uber sexy sleeveless button-down!
With or without superpowers now you can save the world in a fashionable manner one day at a time!
Again, bravo Don for another beautiful collection! Hopefully, next season you will grace PFW so you can inspire more designers to push the envelope further!
