Yesterday, I attended the launching of Natori's first ever boutique outside of the United States situated at the Second Floor of Rustan's Makati. Members of the press and fellow bloggers got a chance to have a tete-a-tete with the world-class Filipino designer who is known for her signature feminine Asian aesthetic. During the press-con Josie Natori candidly shared anecdotes about her company. From her humble beginnings in New York to one of the most sought-after lingerie and loungewear labels, indeed, Josie Natori has come along way. Presently, Natori offers couture, ready-to-wear, swimwear, sleepwear, lingerie, loungewear, underwear and even eyewear for the modern woman. In addition to this, the company has expanded into the home furnishings industry. In a span of three decades, the company has successfully evolved into a women's lifestyle company. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Natori starts venturing into skincare and cosmetics one day. It's amazing how Natori has survived this cut-throat industry even with the recent recession in the United States.
Thank you Josie for continuously inspiring Filipinos like me to dream big!
And boy you look fantastic at sixty-something. You're absolutely the embodiment of timeless beauty!
