I won't lie to you. It takes a lot to grab my attention when it comes to fashion. If you have been following my blog for quite some time now then I am positive that you know that I don't have a penchant for American designers. Why? Well, most American designers tend to ride the "trendy" commercial fashion bandwagon and I have never been a big fan of that. I tend to revere designers who march to the beat of their own drum. Designers who defy what's IN now. Designers who set trends. Designers who perennially inspire me. Having said that InAisce is one of the few labels from the US that consistently set the bar high of those ideals by presenting innovative and progressive collections from its early inception. Its latest collection entitled "Pilgrim" is no exception. I totally adore the east-meets-west sensibility. The juxtaposition of the old and the new creates unbelievable sick silhouettes that look futuristically chic yet wearable in my opinion. Wouldn't it be sweet to see these garments on a possible Blade Runner remake?
InAisce is absolutely carving a niche for itself. And I can't wait to see more from this visionary label.
