Everyone knows I'm The Soloist's Takahiro Miyashita's biggest fan living in Manila! So when I saw this email this morning I knew I just had to blog it. Anyway, this latest addition to the adidas Originals collaborative series focus on detail, craftsmanship, and the intelligent use of premium materials. Anyone who is familiar with Miyashita's work with Number (N)ine would know the attention to detail he puts on everything he does. Updating some of adidas’s most iconic styles with a clean, contemporary finish, each pair is marked with minimal Soloist branding on the tongue. I totally love the very understated branding. It's very Japanese!

The classic Basket Profi sneaker is given a skate-inspired reworking as part of the collection. It has a textured suede upper with a premium leather sock liner, also in tonal grey. The style features a classic tennis shoe sole and is finished with grey laces to complete the refined appearance.

You can cop these sweet kicks at oki-ni. There are four varieties to choose from. I'm gravitating towards the hi-top version!
