Each year, I always look forward to Issey Miyake's innovative show. I even wore an Issey Miyake long-sleeved shirt today to pay homage to the iconic Japanese designer. Surprisingly, this season Issey Miyake's newly-appointed creative director Yusuke Takahashi presented a rather simple collection focusing on bold colors and statement prints in contemporary silhouettes. Takhashi's successful show exhibited the fluid movement of the garments as models run on the catwalk sporting their comfy sneakers.  And he did it flawlessly with flying colors considering it's his debut collection. So Takahashi hats off to you! Looks like more and more ateliers are cashing in on fresh new talents nowadays.
