A few days ago I attended an exclusive press tour of the first Wellworth Department Store located at the Fairview Terraces in Quezon City. Wellworth aims to tap into the country's growing market of aspirational yet price-conscious shoppers like me. It is distinguished by the fabulous state-of-the-art store architecture, excellent customer service and a mix of international, local and exclusive brands at affordable prices. A mix of journalists and local bloggers graced the #wellworthit event. My Mom was sweet enough to be my date during the fun-filled event. When we arrived, we were ushered to our seats at Dekada where a hearty and delicious lunch was prepared for everyone. A #wellworthit shopping bag was handed to each guest along with a press kit. I also received a Shine Membership Card which you can use to accumulate points to acquire fabulous rewards. Before the tour begun, Anton Huang delivered his warm welcome remarks to everyone who braved Quezon City to experience a #wellworthit shopping experience. A tour guide was assigned to show us around the15,000 square meters of selling space featuring a wide array of products for the entire family and some must-have home furnishings. A mini-fashion show featuring Wellworth's in-house brands greeted us at every pit stop. In addition to this, special prizes and goodie bags awaited us. At the end of the tour, my bag was literally overflowing with treats. Both my Mom and I felt like little kids inside an enormous candy store. Of course, I couldn't leave without getting myself a new pair of black Chucks using my GCs. Indeed, it was a really wonderful shopping and bonding experience with my Mom.
