RUNWAY DIARY: BALLY SPRING SUMMER 2015

I almost missed the Bally presentation because of my prior engagement. But the Bally people were nice enough to extend the showroom hours to accommodate late attendees like me. Believe me or not but attending fashion week is no joke. You literally sprint from one event to another. Luckily, I finished the entire thing with all my limbs still intact.
Anyway, Bally principals welcomed me with open arms and walked me through their pretty extensive Spring Summer 2015 collection. Bally prides itself for being one of the pioneers in fine leather goods.  I got my first Bally trainers back in 2003 and it's still in great condition until now. That's a testament to their unparalleled craftsmanship and durability.
Under the new mentorship of Pablo Coppola, Bally's latest collection is inspired by archival pieces from the glorious past. Coppola, then, incorporated these elements to create modern designs. The leather monkstraps with hiker boot-like lug soles are without a doubt my favorites from this collection. It comes in different shades and leather. Aside from this, I am also fond of the utility rucksacks. I absolutely adore its sleek design and compact size!
