RUNWAY DIARY: YOSHIO KUBO SPRING SUMMER 2015

Tokyo-based Yoshio Kubo upgraded the fisherman look by combining utility and sports elements with eye-popping graphic prints and vivid colors. Models including a single white androgynous female model were deliberately made up to look disheveled and sunburnt in contrast to their flawlessly color-coordinated sleek ensembles. Aside from nautical stripes, and camouflage prints, notice an image of a woman resembling the acclaimed Mexican painter Frida Kahlo on a handful of easy to wear pullovers.
