RUNWAY DIARY: JULIUS SPRING SUMMER 2016

Known for his otherworldly, gothic-inspired aesthetic, designer Tatsuro Horikawa incorporated elements of nature and voodoo to his SS16 collection for Julius. The Japanese designer reinterpreted traditional tribal wear by giving it an edgy, futuristic vibe while still maintaining mystery. The colors were generally monochromatic with a handful of eerie prints and noir patches while the silhouettes were mostly relaxed and casual. I can absolutely see either a man or woman rocking most of the pieces.
